Stagnation is EVIL because you do not LIVE. Can you see the opposite? If you don't live your life ... it is evil. We are here for joy, discover your truth for it is within you.

I gaze darkly into the crystal,

To see where myself has just been,

To look through the mirror of conscience,

To check that it’s me, that I’ve seen.

In fear and wonder, I stand there,

And shake in the dark of the night,

For the beacon of knowledge is missing,

And ignorance, keeps out the light.

Oh, for a match in the darkness,

A fire-fly, to show me the way,

My eyes have been shuttered in blindness,

Though I stagger towards a new day.

But now, the crystal glows brighter,

And I see where my soul has just been,

It’s flown on the wings of the astral,,

And learnt, by all that it’s seen.

Fear is associated with darkness, this poem is trying to show you the light - not through ignorance - but enrichment.

The fire-fly is a beacon of light, like a candle in the darkness, where there is light darkness is banished. Don't blind yourself - kidding yourself is just a way to denial and ignorance - keep your eyes open and BE AWARE, because we all stagger when we are blind.

A new day, however, is a new hope. The poem suggests the brightness of the crystal glow, but where there is light, there is a shadow - 'where my soul has just been', leaving an echoe in the past.

Crystal gazing opens the veil - the doors to the astral - and it is here that all has been learned and seen.
